Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Heluva Global Media LLC ("GoTaller," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the GoTaller mobile app and the gotaller.app website (together, the "Service").
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
Information you provide in the app
- Growth profile: date of birth, biological sex, current height, and (optionally) your father's and mother's heights.
- Lifestyle answers: your typical sleep hours, foods you usually eat, physical activities, and posture habits (e.g., sitting hours, slouching).
- Height log: the height measurements and dates you record over time.
- Daily check-ins: the daily habit entries you log (sleep, foods, activity, posture) and the scores computed from them.
Account information
- Anonymous account: when you install the app, we create an anonymous account with a random ID so your data can sync and be restored. This requires no name, email, or password.
- Google Sign-In (optional): if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic Google account profile info. We use it only to link your data to your account across devices.
Purchase information
- Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Google Play (or Apple's App Store on iPhone). We receive purchase status (e.g., which plan is active) through our subscription manager, RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment card details.
Technical information
- Basic device information (model, OS version, app version) may be included if you contact support, and standard server logs (such as IP address) are generated when the app talks to our backend.
What we do not collect
- No advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
- No camera, microphone, photos, location, or contacts access — the app doesn't request these permissions.
- No genetic or DNA data. Predictions are computed from the answers you type in.
3. How we use your information
- To compute your height estimate and percentile and build your personalized daily plan.
- To sync your profile, check-ins, and height log so they survive reinstalls and device changes.
- To manage your subscription entitlement (unlock the app when you've subscribed, restore purchases).
- To respond to support requests.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
4. Service providers we share data with
We use a small number of processors to run the Service. Each receives only what it needs:

5. How long we keep data
We keep your data for as long as your account exists so your history and plan keep working. If you delete your account (see below), we delete your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except records we're legally required to keep (e.g., purchase records retained by Google and RevenueCat for financial compliance, which are unlinked from your profile).
6. Your rights and choices
You can, at any time:
- Access or export the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data (most data can be edited directly in the app).
- Delete your account and data — see our account deletion page or email support@gotaller.app.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@gotaller.app. We respond within 30 days.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect (listed in Section 2), the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Users in the EEA/UK (GDPR): our legal bases are performance of a contract (providing the Service you signed up for) and legitimate interests (keeping the Service secure and supported). You additionally have rights to restrict or object to processing, data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
7. Children and teens
GoTaller is intended for users aged 13 and older. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact support@gotaller.app and we will delete it promptly.
If you are under 18, we encourage you to use GoTaller with a parent or guardian's knowledge. A parent or guardian must approve any subscription purchase.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) between the app and our backend. Access to production data is restricted, and user data is protected by per-user access rules at the database level (row-level security).
9. A note on health data
Your growth answers and logs are wellness information you choose to record — GoTaller is not a medical service, and your data is never used for medical decisions, insurance, or advertising. Height predictions are statistical estimates for guidance only, not a medical diagnosis.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and notify you in the app before the changes take effect.
